I.T. Support Analyst
I.T. Support Analyst

Pioneers is seeking an energetic, highly-motivated IT Support Analyst to serve on the Information Technology team at its headquarters located in Orlando, FL. We are looking for a skilled individual to provide level 2 general helpdesk support for onsite and remote personnel, including computers, mobile devices, phones (Shoretel), using Microsoft and Apple products. 

The qualified individual will demonstrate: a firm commitment to Pioneers’ values and mission; excellent troubleshooting ability and an interest in continuous learning; strong ability to function as a team-player; ability to self-motivate and organize work, prioritize tasks, and follow through on assignments given; very strong customer service orientation; excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills; good analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. A University degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or 2 years of equivalent work experience is preferred. 


Responsibilities include:  Answering incoming calls and helpdesk emails; providing support in a timely manner by installing, diagnosing, and resolving level 2 problems for hardware, peripherals, network, and software systems; communicating resolution status proactively; following up on open and unresolved tickets, and communicating the status with user.


Based in the Pioneers headquarters in southeast Orlando near the international airport, this is a full-time position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and role.

Food Service Assistant
Food Service Assistant

Pioneers is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual, gifted in hospitality to serve in the position of Food Service Assistant.  This role primarily assists the Food Service Manager in preparing and serving food for on-campus events, and is available to assist with other Hospitality team responsibilities as needed.  Specific responsibilities include:  setting up and cleaning the kitchen and dining area before and after events, food preparation per recipes, safe and efficient food service to guests, cleaning floors and removing garbage, washing dishes by means of a commercial dish machine and three compartment sink, sanitizing equipment, restocking paper products, and taking initiative as part of a team to meet goals and deadlines. 

 

The qualified candidate will demonstrate: a firm commitment to Pioneers’ core values and mission, a friendly and outgoing manner, basic food service knowledge and the ability to follow recipes, an ability to move/lift items up to 20 lbs shoulder high on a regular basis and stand for 4 hours at a time, no food allergies that would hinder ability to prepare and serve food, and availability for evening and weekend hours as needed.

 

Based in the Pioneers USA headquarters in southeast Orlando near the international airport, this is an event-based part-time position working a variable schedule. This role averages approximately 20-24 hours a week, often more on event weeks which are usually twice a month.

Campus Services Team Member, Grounds Focus (2 Positions Available)
Campus Services Team Member, Grounds Focus (2 Positions Available)

Pioneers is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to serve in the position of Campus Services Team Member – Grounds focus. This role primarily assists the Maintenance team with lawn and grounds maintenance at a 45-acre property. This role also provides support to the larger Campus Services team according to fluctuating business needs and seasonal demands, including event setup & take-down, transportation of guests during events, and maintenance of the campus buildings. Specific responsibilities include: Lawn mowing, string trimmer use, edging, forced air blowing, weed pulling, raking, digging, planting of different size plants and trees, watering and work on irrigation, adjusting sprinkler heads, applying mulch and pine straw, application of different products, painting, pressure washing, scrubbing, mopping, sweeping, wiping down cobwebs, trimming palm trees, and use of a ladder.

 

The qualified candidate will demonstrate a firm commitment to Pioneers' core values and mission, be a service oriented individual that works well with others, and have a strong ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and follow through on assignments given.  Previous experience in irrigation is helpful.

 

Physical demands for this position include the ability to bend, climb and lift 40lbs consistently, stand and walk for long periods of time, work in varying climate conditions, including working in extreme heat conditions including temperatures above 100 degrees, extreme cold weather conditions, and during precipitation; and no allergies to dust or cleaning chemicals. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus and see all colors.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly stand; walk, kneel, stoop, bend, crawl, dig, talk and hear, occasionally sit, frequently move about inside the office to access office machinery, etc., frequently use ladders and climb and work while elevated, climb up roof hatch access ladders, work in tight and confined spaces, frequently operate a computer and other office productivity machines, frequently use varying maintenance, kitchen, and office equipment including but not limited to, small power tools, pressure washers, and cleaners, and operate a pressure washer, power saws of all types, use hand tools and other equipment.

 

Based in the Pioneers USA headquarters in southeast Orlando near the international airport, this is a part-time position averaging approximately 29 hours a week over 4 weekdays.

Web Support Analyst

Pioneers is seeking an energetic, highly-motivated IT Support Analyst for Web Technologies to serve on the Information Technology team at its headquarters located in Orlando, FL. We are looking for a skilled individual who can provide management and administration of the organization's websites and web applications. This includes ensuring that website users can efficiently and effectively fulfill business objectives, troubleshooting and resolving issues with web applications and software, and assisting with the development and implementation of new websites.

Ongoing responsibilities include: gaining expertise in all website-related software and technologies used and supported by the organization, fielding incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve website issues within servers, databases, and other mission-critical systems, working with vendors, developers and Level 3 tech support staff to resolve technical website issues, prioritizing, scheduling, and administering all required enhancements and resolution items, communicating website and web application problems and issues to key stakeholders, testing fixes and performing post-resolution follow-ups, providing support for the testing of websites and web applications, and maintaining and enhancing performance of all new and existing websites and web applications across the organization, and occasional evening and weekend work as necessary.

Pioneers is seeking a discerning, spiritually mature individual to serve on its Pre-field Team in the position of Pre-field Coach. The Pre-field Coach is the primary contact person for all US appointees. 

Pre-field Coaches encourage, assist, track, and hold all appointees accountable from the time of their appointment to Pioneers until their departure for the field. The qualified candidate will demonstrate: a firm commitment to Pioneers core values and mission; spiritual maturity and propensity toward encouraging and shepherding appointees; servant leadership; experience in excellent communication skills in speaking and written forms; overseas ministry experience or experience assisting new workers to the field; practical experience in mentoring or coaching; and a desire to facilitate prayer for appointees’ requests among the Orlando Team.

The desired candidate will possess: minimum training in database and website management; a desire to develop, instruct, and assist appointees in preparation and execution of a Pre-field plan while keeping appointees accountable to quarterly reports; the ability to give final departure clearance to appointees; the ability to assist the VP of Personnel in coordinating and conducting programs; a professional and engaging demeanor with strong interpersonal skills; and strong computer, database, and Microsoft Office skills. The Pre-field coach also maintains communication with field leadership regarding appointees.

This position requires the ability to: locate in the Orlando area, and work from the Pioneers US Mobilization Base headquarters; travel domestically and internationally; sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day; and work on a computer (typing and viewing a screen) for up to 8 hours/day.

HVAC Mechanical Maintenance Technician
HVAC Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Pioneers is seeking an energetic, highly-motivated HVAC/Mechanical Maintenance Technician for its headquarters located in Orlando, FL.  We are looking for a skilled individual who maintains good records and systems and can manage staff and outsources contracts and resources, and can establish and maintain a maintenance plan to assist in keeping Pioneers & KOA facilities in top condition.

The HVAC/ Mechanical Maintenance Technician will assist the Director of Maintenance & Facilities Manager in the oversight of all HVAC units and Mechanical systems, including their controls.  This person will provide back-up and assistance for the Maintenance Team as needed, and may be part of the after-hours on-call team.

The qualified individual will have: a firm commitment to Pioneers’ values and mission; hold the State / EPA licenses and certificates for charging and evacuating HVAC systems; 3 - 5 years of experience in the HVAC field; some experience with small engine repair and mechanics; a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record; and be knowledgeable in infrastructure, construction, and maintenance of facilities. The qualified candidate will be a service oriented individual that works well with others, able to lead, instruct, and train others; an impactful team player that looks for creative solutions to better maintain facilities; have a strong ability to function as a team-player; have a strong ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and follow through on assignments given; and have excellence in communication both verbally and in written form.

Pioneers is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented self-starter with extensive experience in information technology to serve as its Software Developer. As a part of a small team of developers, this role is responsible to participate in the entire software lifecycle, contributing IT solution concepts, performing systems analysis and design, implementing software applications, and maintaining production IT infrastructure. 

The qualified candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to Pioneers' core values and mission. Church Partnerships Facilitator - Texas Region

Pioneers is seeking a discerning, spiritually mature individual to serve on its Church Partnerships Team in the position of Church Partnerships Facilitator. The Church Partnerships Facilitator represents PI to the US church constituency and is responsible to pursue pathways in partnership to promote a vision for the unreached and to mobilize workers for the task. The posture of the Church Partner Facilitator is that of one who comes alongside churches with both a listening ear and a helping hand. 

The qualified candidate will demonstrate: a passionate commitment to PI’s core values and mission; spiritual maturity and discernment; a self-starter and ability to work effectively without close supervision; a professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills; strong communication skills -- verbal, written, and public speaking; intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude for database management. In addition the qualified individual will bring training in Bible, theology and cross-cultural ministry with experience in overseas ministry preferred. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
