Business as Missions

These sessions will raise awareness, pros/cons and practical issues facing anyone who endeavors to be involved with doing Business as Mission (BAM) with the goal of church planting among unreached people groups. Case studies/stories from real field situations from real practitioners will be used to illustrate and deepen ones reflection on this approach to doing business missionally in a cross cultural setting.

 

Strategy, Creativity and Mission: Unleash your skills to advance the Kingdom of God

This session will focus on how the missionary must embrace one's background, talents, skills and experiences and use them as the bridge into the focus community. Paul will share about how he embraced his own background and assisted others in unleashing their talents to launch ministries in the arts, film industry, education, well drilling, children's ministries, community creativity centers, job training programs, teacher training.

 

518 years and counting - Why Native Americans are still unreached (and what we can do about it)

Only 3-5% of the 4 million Native Americans in the USA (representing 556 tribes or people groups) claim a relationship with Jesus Christ with discipleship almost unknown. A tragic history with both the US government and Christian efforts creates a big challenge. The quality of life on many Indian reservations continues to be the worst in our nation. Come hear the story about these unreached, hidden people groups right out our back door!

 

Spiritual Warfare

The biblical basis of spiritual warfare, stories from the field ministering in this area, and strategic prayer as relates to spiritual warfare and the reaching of the nations.

Come and hear the story of how GOD, through the partnership of pray-ers and players is putting together the puzzle to reach a Muslim unreached people group in Southeast Asia. There are still puzzle pieces missing, particularly for teaching English or reaching English speaking youth through today's social networking tools. Disciple making as a key to church planting movements

This workshop aims at challenging attendees to produce cross-cultural disciple makers who can multiply themselves as foundations for a church planting movement. A clear outline of the stages of disciple making is presented along with suggested graded teaching modules.

 

Reproducible Church Planting (Reaching Internationals to Reach the World)

Anyone can start a church! Using the biblical and practical strategy of reaching internationals within a city in order to see the gospel taken and churches established in a least evangelized or limited access countries, this workshop will look at the core and basic principles of church planting and explain how the early church’s apostolic pattern for starting churches was simple, organic and highly reproducible. Come learn about practical ideas that will help you implement this strategic ministry in any city.

 

Breaking frameworks of lies: moving ourselves & others from darkness into light

This is a practical "how-to ministry" session that focuses on 1) recognizing the lies that we and others are believing about ourselves, God and the world around us 2) recognizing the corresponding truths that God has revealed to us and 3) taking the steps that enable us to move ourselves & from lies to truth, from darkness to light and from bondage to freedom.

 

Proactive Waiting: from Calling to the Field

So, God has called you to be a missionary… but He has not released you, yet. How do you wait? What can you do to proactively prepare for the field? And how do you get others to be excited about the lost the way God and you do? Come and participate.

 

Ahıska – Meskhetian – Russian Turks and Chronological Bible Story Telling

The Turkish Ottoman Empire ruled the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Europe for 600 years. Relatives of the Ottoman Turks from Russia now live in several cities of the USA. There are no known Christians among them. Come learn how God has reached Turks from Turkey through Chronological Bible Stories, and how He is beginning to reach these Russian Turks as well. Is God calling you to help plant the first church among Russian Turks in the USA for His glory?

 

Children at Risk

Throughout the world are 1.5 billion children at risk. Children are suffering in poverty, as slave laborers, orphans, street children, prostitutes, and soldiers; and the Church is positioned to answer their cries. If you are currently working with children at risk or would like to work with children at risk, this workshop is for you!
