Use your medical skills at a government health center in rural East Africa where you can minister to people as you treat their physical ailments. Get involved in a mobile follow-up ministry comprising of healthcare, health education and evangelism as you visit patients in their homes.

Teach at a local community primary school (grades 1-4) in East Africa. Build relationships with your students while learning about the local language and culture and intentionally sharing the Gospel. Join a team of missionaries that are willing to live in this hard land to share the love of Christ with this remote cluster of people.

Walk from village to village with a local informant (for language, culture, survival, etc) and do Bible storying, play the Jesus Film, do basic proclamation, and identify 'persons of peace' for later contact by the long term missionaries. This will be a rugged assignment, so you will need to be physically fit, able to hike and camp for a few weeks at a time (i.e., away from the team's base but in cell phone contact and easy motorcycle or truck range for support, oversight, and fellowship)
