The Basque region is a beautiful region with a uniquely ancient and progressive culture. Their language is a mystery and the people are intensely proud of their unique place in Europe. The Basques were initially resistant to Christianity, but once converted they became staunch Catholics. Now they are post-Christian, post-God, post-modern. They have been shaped by the past violence and oppression from the Spanish dictator and the current violent liberation movement. Due to a history of religion and church, the Basques have been inoculated to the truth of Scripture and they are resistant to hearing the God´s truth. We are looking for leaders to start a team among the Basque people across in northern Spain and southern France. Will you be one of the first Pioneers to reach this unreached people?
