This role assists the Food Service Coordinator in preparing and serving food for on-campus events.  Specific responsibilities include:  setting up and cleaning the kitchen and dining area before and after events, food preparation per recipes, food service to guests, and taking initiative as part of a team to meet goals and deadlines.</p>
<p>The qualified candidate will demonstrate: a firm commitment to Pioneers’ core values and mission; a friendly and outgoing manner; basic food service knowledge and the ability to follow recipes; an ability to move/lift items up to 20 lbs shoulder high on a regular basis and stand for 4 hours at a time; no food allergies that would hinder ability to prepare and serve food; and availability for some evening and weekend hours as needed.</p>

<p>The qualified candidate will demonstrate: a firm commitment to Pioneers’ core value and mission, excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, effective presentation skills, leadership potential, and be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited university, holding a GPA of 3.0 or above.  Prior experience with IT infrastructure and basic design is a plus.  This is a full-time, temporary, non-paid internship which requires working a 40 hour work week, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm through the summer.</p>

This role gives oversight to the operations of the Pioneers Frizen Missionary Training Center (FMTC) facility. Specific responsibilities include: managing reservations for overnight guests; providing guest tours; oversight of the housekeeping staff; as well as management of the FMTC meeting room and foodservice logistics which take place there. We are looking for a positive, well-organized individual who will show initiative to support our growing organization.</p>
<p>The qualified candidate will demonstrate: a firm commitment to Pioneers’ core values and mission; strong customer service skills and a temperament that enjoys dealing with both adults and children; basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite;  and an ability to move/lift items 20-40 lbs on a regular basis. Food preparation skills are helpful. In addition it is strongly preferred that the qualified candidate reside in employer provided, on-campus housing (one bedroom apartment) as some evening and weekend hours are required for scheduled as well as last-minute issues that may arise.</p>
