The details of the work and the time frame can be worked out with the Team Leader you are assigned to, but most volunteers work a short (less than 40 hour) work week.
There is a KOA Kampground next to the Orlando office that may be a source of housing if you have a RV. There are also housing units available from time to time. Each housing situation is handled on an individual basis.
Volunteers are responsible for their own travel and personal care costs. Some of these costs may be deductible on state and federal income taxes according to tax laws. Volunteers who use the KOA Kampground or available housing will be responsible for their own gas and electric.
